Continuous dew point monitor with RS485
Application
The TWA RS485 is a humidity sensor with remote sensor. It is mounted on cooling/cold water pipes or on cool surfaces. It can be used as a humidity sensor, dew point monitor or limit switch on pipes to prevent condensation on pipes. Installation is possible both on metal pipes and optionally with heat conductive paste on plastic pipes is possible.
The dew point temperature is the temperature at which the air reaches saturation and water begins to condense. Unit and line interruptions are signalled at the same time.
